This class explores uses of today's technology including, video, audio, computers, programming, internet and other valuable resources for life and academic skills. Math 8: Students will grasp basic algebra skills with embedded real life applications. Some topics include: Linear Functions and Equations, Pythagorean Theorem, Side-Side-Side Congruence, The Number System, and much more. Calculus Students will have instruction of college level methods, and grasp a basic understanding of Differential and Integral Calculus. Some topics include: Limits of a Function, L'Hospital rule, Chain Rule, Riemann Sums, Integration By Parts...and much more. We can apply calculus to estimate the volume of Half Dome (shown at the top of this page)! |
